Adventure Day 2008 (continued
from home page) There were many people and their dogs in attendance at Pet Adventure Day. There were dogs of all sizes and breeds. However, it was amazing how many Boston terriers showed up that day. Debbie and Joan talked to many Boston terrier owners, with some of them having two or three Bostons at the end of their leashes. This proves that Bostons are like potato chips . . . you can’t have just one! Dog Adventure Day is a great way of meeting other dog owners. There were many organizations in attendance this year, including vendors selling dog-related items, dog rescue groups, breed-specific clubs, the SPCA, area veterinarians and the American Kennel Club (AKC). These groups were there to help educate the public and to share important information with them about dog ownership. Everyone seemed to be having a great time that day. Enclosed are a few pictures (notice—most of them are Bostons!!). The Greater Houston Boston Terrier Club is looking forward to attending Pet Adventure Day 2009. |
